Marian Medella Flynn, 88, of Paw Paw, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Evergreen Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born May 18, 1930 to Morris and Myra (Platt) Flynn in Kewanee, Illinois. Marian graduated from Paw Paw High School with the Class of 1948 where she was Drum Major. Marian was a national champion for baton twirling. She attended Arizona State University, Stetson University in Deland, Florida and Western Michigan University. Marian worked in accounting and at one time was the manager of a Credit Union in Paw Paw. She attended the First Baptist Church in Paw Paw. She is survived by her sister, Florine Nott of Paw Paw; and one nephew, Randy (Traci) and children, Laura and Griffon of Mill Valley, California. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, 6775 Red Arrow Hwy, Paw Paw. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Horace (Buddy) Turner officiating at the church. Marian will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Paw Paw. A lunch will follow burial. Contributions may be made in Marian’s memory to the First Baptist Church of Paw Paw, 32464 E Red Arrow Hwy, Paw Paw, Michigan 49079.
