Margaret “Peggy” (Lincoln) Cooper, age 90 of LaFollette departed this life Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Grantsboro Baptist Church. She enjoyed canning, sewing, reading, flowers, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by husband Raymond Cooper; parents Purd John and Elsie (Snyder) Lincoln; brothers Russell, Robert, and William Lincoln; sisters Mildred Ferguson, Lillian Hickman, Betty Lee Lincoln, and Marian Mages. She is survived by sons David Cooper & wife Rose of Mt. Juliet, Dale Cooper & wife Charley of Knoxville; daughter Donna Kavanagh & husband Russell of Huntington Beach, California; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, September 28, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. David Goins officiating. Friends and family will meet 10:15 AM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Grantsboro Cemetery for the 11 AM interment.
