OBITUARY Margaret H. Porch February 16, 1957 – September 18, 2018 Margaret “Peggy” Porch, age 61 of Sylacauga, passed away September 18, 2018 at Grandview Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son North with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19 from 5-7 PM at the North Chapel. She is survived by her husband, Tommy H. Porch of Sylacauga; daughter, Mallory Porch of Tuscaloosa; brother, Gerald T. Henderson (Nan) of Sylacauga. She is preceded in death by parents, Mack T. and Margaret C. Henderson. She worked for Sylacauga City School systems and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be John Floyd, Wesley Daniel, Phil Hammonds, Matt Andrews, Doug Murphree, Sammy Andrews, Cassie Burton, and Bill Roberts. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Ghayas Habach and Sylacauga Davita Dialysis Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund or the First United Methodist Church.
