Obituary for Marcia Murphy (McCann) Latham – Marcia F. (McCann) Murphy, 94, passed from this life on August 19, 2018. Born in Albany, Marcia was the daughter of the late Francis and Ernestine (Galaise) McCann. She was employed as a secretary at both the VA Medical Center and Governmental Motor Pool in Albany. She was the loving mother of Sharon (late Kevin) O’Dea, and the late Shawn (Margaret) Murphy and the late Kevin (Pam) Murphy; cherished grandmother of Dylan O’Dea, Heather (Jacques) Goulet, Shelby Murphy, Shauna (Chris) Jamieson and Morgan (Michael) Muldoon; proud great-grandmother of Aidan Jamieson, Conor Goulet, Murphy Muldoon, Harper Goulet and Maren Muldoon; sister of Sheila Russo and Lorraine Martin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:30 am in the Church of St. Pius X, 23 Crumite Road, Loudonville. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. There will be no public visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Derek Murphy Fund, 4 South Colonial Heights Troy, NY 12180.
