Obituary of Lucille Zilla Lucille A. (nee: Michinski) Zilla of Williamsburg VA (formerly of Landing NJ) passed away Wednesday September 19, 2018 at the VCU Medical Center, Richmond VA. She was 85. Born in Scranton PA, she lived in Landing prior to moving to Williamsburg 3 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Lucille was an Inspector with Howmet Corporation in Dover. A very social person, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, movies, theater and political conversations on her front porch. Beloved wife of the late John. Devoted mother of Paula Piazza (Anthony), John (Patricia), Carl (Karen) and the late Donna Zilla. Loving grandmother of Jamie and Toni Piazza and Dylan, Daniel, Michael, Brian, Matthew and the late Carl Matthew Zilla. Dear sister of Eugene Michinski (Mary). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucille’s Life Celebration on Wednesday September 26 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will begin at 11:00AM. Lucille will be laid to rest with her late daughter Donna in the Succasunna United Methodist Cemetery in Succasunna NJ following the Prayer Service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
