Obituary for Louis Patrick Ramunni Louis Patrick Ramunni, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. Louis was born April 6, 1957, in Huntington, Long Island, New York to Louis Ramunni, Sr. and Carmela DiMonte Ramunni. Raised in Melville, New York, Louis attended St. Anthony’s High School. In 1979. He received his undergraduate degree in Architecture from New York University. Louis then went on to attend the prestigious New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1981. Pursuing his passion for design and construction, he founded LPR Associates where he was the principal and owner until his death. Louis met the love of his life, Jeanne Tuttle, in Tyler and the two were wed in 1987. In 1993, they were blessed with the birth of their son, Scott Andrew. Mr. Ramunni was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carmela and Louis Ramunni; mother and father-in-law, Mary Lynn and LJ “Dutch” Tuttle; and sister-in-law, Janet Tuttle Heitmiller. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne, and son, Scott, both of Tyler; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Marcia Ramunni, of Canaan, Connecticut; sister, Susan Randleman and brother-in-law, Charles Randleman of Payson, Arizona; brother-in-law, Brian Tuttle of Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved and will miss him dearly. As a friend and mentor to many, Louis will be remembered for his generous spirit, love of life, and the kindness and joy he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him. Services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul, located at 1435 E SE Loop 323, Tyler, Texas with the The Most Reverend, Joseph Strickland, Bishop of Tyler, officiating. Visitation is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
