Obituary for Lisa Turpin (Herrington) Lisa Gail Herrington Turpin, 55, of Stanford, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at U.K. Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born September 13, 1963 in Alamogordo, NM to Curtis A Herrington of Stanford, KY, and the late Norma Bailey Herrington, she was a former employee of the Bluegrass 911 Center in Lancaster, KY, and was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Jesse Turpin, Jr. of Stanford, KY; one daughter, Alyssa Brooke Turpin; one sister, Michelle Herrington Price (Stephen) of Lancaster, KY; five aunts; three uncles; thirteen nieces and nephews; several cousins; and many friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a niece, Emily Jean Price. Visitation will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5-8pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral service will be 11am Friday, September 28, 2018 at the funeral home with Bro. Russell Dunaway, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY. Casket bearers will be: William Price, Alan Weston, Tevis Graham, Rob Wilson, Jeremy Garrison, and Russ Clark. Honorary bearers are the employees of the Bluegrass 911 Center.
