He was born August 29, 1928 in Fremont, Michigan to Ed & Jennie (Wesselink) Frens. He was a Korean War Veteran. On April 9,1949 he married Alice Siersema and she preceded him in death on August 16,2018. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. He is survived by 3 children: Linda (Mike) Cook, Wayne (Jayne) Frens, Sharon (Craig) Luchies; 2 Grandchildren: Matt Ryswick, Michelle Ryswick. Private services have been held.
