Obituary for Kaye Cole Hicks Brenda Kaye Cole Hicks, 69, widow of Dennis Andrew Hicks, passed away September 20, 2018. A native of Greenville County, a daughter of the late Richard M. and Annie Lee Edwards Cole, she was retired textile employee and member of the Greenville Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. Surviving are two sons, Phillip Channing “Chann” Hicks (Karen) of Lyman and Dennis Alexander “Pepper” Hicks of the home; one daughter, Kellee Hicks Rice (J.J.) of Greer; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by one grandson, Sgt. Channing Bo Hicks. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Pastor Michael Brown. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 12 Noon until 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. The family is at their respective homes.
