Obituary for Judy A. McKee Judy A. McKee, 72, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Anthony Health Care in Lafayette. Judy was born January 7, 1946 in Lafayette to the late Smith Elmo and Lillie Mae (Dyer) Taylor. Her marriage was to Douglas B. McKee on November 22, 1969 in Lafayette. He preceded her in death in 2017. Judy worked in various capacities during her lifetime. While her children were in school at Battle Ground Elementary, she served as the “Lunch Lady.” She worked at Hudlow’s dry-cleaning as a clerk, and at Wal-Mart on State Road 26, Lafayette in the snack bar and as a greeter. She had many hobbies, including attending her children’s activities, bird watching, crocheting, knitting, and cooking for family and friends. Judy was active in her church while attending Elmwood Church of Christ. She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed. Judy is survived by children, Todd D. (Clara) McKee of Clarks Hill and Amy L. (Vince) Boston of Brookston; sister, Ruth Lank; brother, Ronald (Della Sue) Taylor of Pensacola; grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Bellah, Brandon Bellah and Matthew McKee; great-grandchildren, Brody, Ariana, and Braydon Bellah; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Taylor. In addition to her husband, Judy was preceded in death by her brother, James Taylor. Family and Friends are welcome to visit from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday September 25, 2018 at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette. Funeral Services will follow on Wednesday, 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Celebrant Theresa Fisher officiating. Interment will take place at Battle Ground Cemetery.
