Joseph Razza 2018

Joseph Razza, 89, passed away on Monday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Concetta (Calitri) Razza. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Luigi and Vincenza (Zinini) Razza. He was a Warwick resident for 53 years. Joe was the owner of the Raz-Mer Casting and Royal Plating Companies for 58 years retiring 7 years ago. He was a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War and a volunteer at the R.I. Veterans Hospital for many years as well as a member of the Kent County Marine Corps League. In addition, he was also a longtime member and former president of the Rosario Society in Providence. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter Susan Folco and a son William Razza, two grandchildren Maribeth Zoglio and her husband Timothy and Andrew Razza and his wife Georgia all of Warwick. He also leaves a sister: Irene Perrotti of Smithfield and two brothers: Luca Razza of Coventry and Alfred Razza of Johnston. He was father-in-law of the late Chuck Folco and brother of the late Rose Sousa, Esther Martini and Josephine Vespia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10AM in St Benedict Church, Beach Ave. Warwick to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Thursday 5-8pm in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, R.I. 02906.
