OBITUARY Josephine Tarvis Josephine (Ricci) Tarvis, passed away September 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Russo) Ricci; wife of the late John Tarvis; sister of the late John, Colonel Angelo, Anthony, James and Ann Ricci, Rose DeAngelis, Etta Taylor, Janet Lyons, Margaret Mancini and Mary Rush. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Josephine had been a long time employee of Women & Infants Hospital and the Providence V.A. Medical Center. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence.
