OBITUARY Mr. John P. Jardin February 5, 1945 – August 29, 2018 John P. Jardin, age 73, of Fairhaven, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in New Bedford. He was the husband of the late Marie E. (Texeira) Jardin. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph P. and Maria S. (Jardim) Jardin, he attended New Bedford Vocational Technical High School and was a lifelong area resident. He was employed as a Truck Driver for Wonder Bread, Frionor Fish and the Acushnet Company.. A United States Navy Veteran, Mr. Jardin served during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughter Lisa M. Correia and her partner Derron Jorgensen of Attleboro, MA; four grandchildren Michael, Matthew and Alyssa Correia and Anthony Jardin; a brother Joseph Jardin of Bradenton, FL; a sister Delores Telo of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jardin was the father of the late Michael P. Jardin. His Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10AM in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford.
