OBITUARY Joann Washburn Murrell May 13, 1968 – August 31, 2018 Joann Washburn Murrell, age 50, passed away on Friday August 31, 2018 at Geneva General Hospital. Joann was born May 13, 1968 in Canandaigua, NY to the late Shirley (Day) and Donald Washburn. She worked for Finger Lakes Health in Geneva, NY as a certified sterile processing technician. Joann enjoyed to read and was a movie enthusiast. Joann is survived by her sister Christine (William) Washburn Deleon, step brother Allan (Diane) Houghtaling, step sister Shanon (Rodney) Malbone and very close friends Jen (Bubby) Kerrick. In addition to her parents, Joann was predeceased by her step mother Donna Washburn; step brothers Thad and Larry Houghtaling.
