Obituary for Jerrel Peugh Service for Jerrel Curtis Peugh, 83, of Grandview, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 01, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Interment will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 -6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Jerrel Peugh passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Fort Worth. He was born on July 27, 1935 in Johnson County to J.C. and Addie Ellen (Baker) Peugh. He married Lorena Vernell Davis on July 11, 1959 in Weatherford. Mr. Peugh was a farmer and owned and operated Peugh’s Country Sausage from 1945 – 1995. He also served proudly in the US Army. Jerrel is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vernell Peugh of Rio Vista; sons Bart Peugh and wife Melody and David Peugh all of Rio Vista; daughter Donna Lewis and husband Shawn of Abilene; ten grandchildren David Peugh, Jr., Amanda Peugh, Jennifer Gaston, Kyle Bryan, Dustin Peugh, Jason Peugh, Chey Peugh, Seth Peugh, Cody Peugh and Payten Lewis; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Betty Nowlin of Benbrook two nieces; one nephew and a host of other loving family and friends.
