Obituary for Jennifer Tompkins EAST FISHKILL – Jennifer M. Tompkins, 56, an area resident since 1999, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on September 17, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in White Plains on June 21, 1962, she was the daughter of Martin and Dolores (Wisinski) Albert. Jennifer had been employed by Virdian Energy for the last five years. She had previously been employed by the Town of East Fishkill as the Administrative Assistant to the Town Supervisor. For many years, she was instrumental in the planning of East Fishkill Community Day. On May 16, 1987 at St. Columbanus Church in Cortlandt Manor, Jennifer married Brian Tompkins who survives at home. She is also survived by her sons, Brian, Daren and Sean Tompkins; her dog, Stella; her siblings, John Albert, James Albert, Jeffrey and Jill Albert, and Joanna Albert Laquerre; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a service at 7pm.
