OBITUARY Jeanna Marie Fells June 5, 1973 – September 26, 2018 On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, Jeanna Prickett Fells, age 45, of Gadsden gained her heavenly wings and left us to be with her Lord and Savior. Jeanna was born the only daughter to DeWayne and Margaret Prickett, She attended Gaston High School for 13 years. She continued her education at U.A.B. School of Dentistry. She worked with the late George C. Stacey, Sr. and George C. Stacey, Jr. for approximately 28 years. She loved all of the people she got to meet and care for. Jeanna served as Assistant Cross Country Coach at Gaston from 2014-2016. She served as the Vice President of Gaston PTSO from 2015-2017. She was a devoted member of Shiloh Church. Jeanna was so full of spirit, kindness, love, and helpfulness. She loved and lived life to the fullest. To know Jeanna was to love her forever. Jeanna left to cherish her life and memory her devoted and beloved husband of 22 years, Robert Todd Fells; her heartbeat, son and best friend, Hunter Dalton Fells; beloved mother Margaret Prickett; blessed mother-in-law, Marie Fells; devoted brother, Michael (Shane) Prickett; brother-in-law, Scott (Kimberly) Fells; her pride and joy, nephews, Taylor Prickett, and Justin Fells. Loving nieces, Macy and Lani Fells. Very precious chosen sister, Lee (Allen) Moore. Jeanna leaves several beloved aunts and uncles. Jeanna was preceded in death by her beloved father, DeWayne Prickett; loved father-in-law, Wilson Fells. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Prickett, grandmother, Myrl Couch; grandparents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Waddell, Sr. A host of other loved ones. Pallbearers will be Josh Hall, Bryant Allen, Alexander Allen, David Clements, Jason Borders, and Jamie Gibbs. Honorary Pallbearer are doctors and nurses of the Cancer Treatments Centers of America, nurses and staff of Alacare Hospice. Gaston Class of 1991 classmates. Donations may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (Newnan, Georgia Center) Flowers will be gratefully appreciated, to her honor of life and strong fight she has fought. Special thanks to Jennie Saunders, Tiffany Works, Lori Wadsworth, Becky Bagley, Diedra Belyeu, Connie Peacock, and Stacy Hall. Thanks to everyone for the visits, calls, prayers, flowers, cards, food, and every kind word. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 1pm at Collier-Butler Chapel. Pastor Danny Farley will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation Saturday evening, September 29, 2018 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
