Loving mother, Jean Yaklin, 79, entered fully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Friday, September 14, 2018, at her home while surrounded by her family. Jean was born December 30, 1939 in Overton, Texas to parents, Ellis and Mildred Soileau. A loving mother and homemaker, Jean was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Jean was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart. Jean leaves her loving memories to be cherished… Read More » by her husband of forty-three years, Leonard Yaklin; children, Kathey Hoffmaster and husband, Stephen, Leonard Eubanks and wife, Wanda, Pamela Eubanks, Brenda Yaklin, James Neal Yaklin and wife, Cindy, and Stacy Chavez and husband, Jose; siblings, Susan Miller, and Benny Soileau and wife, Gayle, as well as, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas. Pastor Lloyd Lane of the Miracle Christian Center will lead a celebration of Jean’s life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the chapel of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. Arrangements are entrusted to Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas.
