Obituary for James L. Stewart James L. Stewart, 83, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, in Kahl Home, Davenport, Iowa. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Private entombment will be in Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum. James Louis Stewart was born July 1, 1935, in Armstrong, Iowa, to Lloyd J. and Inez F. (Floyd) Stewart. He served in the US Air Force, and retired from the Rock Island Arsenal after 40 years of government service. He was a Mason and a member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Moline, and Kaaba Shrine Temple, Davenport. He was the caregiver to his mother, Inez Stewart Holets, for many years, and enjoyed estate sales, traveling and reading. Jim is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Irvin and Millie Stewart of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his parents.
