OBITUARY James “Jim” Joseph McHugh March 10, 1960 – September 6, 2018 James “Jim” Joseph McHugh, 58, of Mesa, AZ passed away September 6, 2018. He was born March 10, 1960 in Omaha, NE to John Edward and Dolores “Dee” [Donovan] McHugh. Jim was an honest, giving man who took care of a lot of people, which made him feel good. On February 16, 1980, Jim was married to the love of his life, Kathleen Ann Miller at St. Bernard’s Church in Omaha, NE, and the two started their family together; his family meant the world to him. He started his career with Baker’s Grocery store in Omaha, NE and worked up to Grocery Manager, the when the family moved to Arizona, he took on a management position at ABCO Supermarkets and then Safeway. After 32 years in the grocery business, Jim wanted a change and went to school to learn more about computers, which he was always fascinated about since they first came out. He went on to work the next 13 years as a Computer Hardware Technician building servers. Jim was also an avid reader and enjoyed Sci-Fi and History books. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Kathleen; his daughter, Jennifer (Michael Jr.) Schutte and her children, Adriana and Braydon Schutte; son Sean (April) McHugh and his children, Lorelei, William and Penelope McHugh; sisters, Susan (Zach) Reynolds and Jackie (Chris) Cohn; his brother, Michael (Molly) McHugh as well as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Marylin Miller. A memorial service will be held, 11:00am, Friday, September 14th at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa.
