Mrs. Ivagene Carroll Archambeault, 81, of Collins/Cobbtown, passed on to eternal rest on September 1, 2018, at the Community Hospice of Vidalia. She was born at home in Brunswick on July 29, 1937, but lived in Tattnall County since 1969. She was a member of Rogers Chapel Baptist Church and previously held membership at the Cobbtown United Methodist Church, where she served each church as pianist. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy where she played the bells for the Red Terror marching… Read More » band. She received her L.P.N. degree from Swainsboro Technical College and she worked as a nurse for the Metter Nursing Home and for Toombs Nursing Home. She was also a certified jeweler. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Carroll; husband of 39 years, Raymond Harvey Archambeault; a son, Stan Shrout and a nephew, Allen Dennis Carroll. She is survived by three sons, Chris Archambeault (Christa) of Metter; Kelly Archambeault of Cobbtown and Kirby Archambeault of Cobbtown; one brother, Edward Carroll (Gene) of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Caryolyn Archambeault of Athens and Christopher Archambeault Jr. of Metter; two nieces, Lori Ann Carroll Jurascheck (Bill) of Brunswick and Rebecca Archambeault Macias (Chris) of Davis, CA. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, September 7, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cobbtown Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning, September 8, 2018 at Cobbtown United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. with Reverends Larry Rader and Jerald Dorr officiating. Burial will follow in Sunlight Cemetery. Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
