Idelle Turner, age 96, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was born and raised in Lumpkin County, worked for Johnson & Johnson Company, and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for over 85 years. Mrs. Turner was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Ellen Dockery Turner, and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Turner; brothers, Otis, Glenn, and Delbert Turner; and sister, Grovie Corbin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Lynn and Robert McDuffie. Funeral Services for Idelle are scheduled for 4:00 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. She will lie in state at the church from 3:30 until 4:00. Pastor Ronnie Dockery and Keith York will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
