Obituary of Howard Loscig, Jr. Howard Irving Loscig Jr., age 91, of Pottstown, PA, died on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Berkshire Center, Reading, PA. He was the husband of Doris Gertrude (Stephens) Loscig. Born in Honesdale, PA, he was the son of the late Howard I. Loscig, Sr. and Ruth (Dillemuth) Loscig. Howard’s parents passed away early in his life and he was raised by his Aunt and Uncle, Joseph and Clara Nolan, who have preceded him in death as well. Mr. Loscig owned and operated Point-O-View a nursery/landscaping business for most of his life. Survivors include: Two Daughters – Cynthia, wife of Ole Wergeland of Reading, PA Roxann, wife of John DeCarlo of Ephrata, PA Seven Grandchildren: Krista, Lesley, Christopher, Elissa, Paul, Ditlef and Erik Nine Great Grandchildren: Justin, Drew, Emily, Lexie, Nicholas, Dahlia, Julia, Leif and Dominic He is also survived by his cousins – Jean (Nolan) Heins and Rita (Nolan) Kittner with whom he was raised and a cousin Gerald Loscig. A viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road, Pottstown, PA 19465, followed by Howard’s Life Celebration service. Rev. Sherry Lantz will officiate. Entombment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery Mausoleum.
