Herman Charles Simmons , 85, of 923 B. Nunn St., New Bern died Saturday, September 15,2018 at CarolinaEast Medical Center. He was born July 15, 1933 in Jones County to the late Nathaniel Lee Simmons and Gertrude Simmons. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church Burial will follow 12 noon Monday, October 1, 2018 at Eastern Carolina State Veteran Cemetery, Goldsboro Visitation will be held Friday, September 28,2018 from 5PM -7PM at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
