Life Story for Helen Hudson (Baber) Helen Mae Hudson, 95, of Bunker Hill passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at home. Helen was born on October 5, 1922 in Albemarle County, VA and was the daughter of the late Hildra Baber and Effie Candoy Baber. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Brethren in Christ Church. She is survived by two sons; Hawty Henderson, Jr. and wife Brenda of Waynesboro, VA, Michael Wayne Hudson and wife Linda; granddaughter; Brandy Crim and husband David and their daughter, Katlyn all of Bunker Hill; one sister, Gracie Toms of Faber, VA and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benson Robert Hudson and twelve siblings. Services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Reverend Raymond Martin officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter at 8180 Greensboro Drive, Suite 400, McLean, VA 22102.
