OBITUARY Helen Fay Lanham March 31, 1942 – September 3, 2018 Helen Fay Lanham, 76, of Poca, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2018, at home after a long and courageous fight. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She grew up in Sissonville and spent her entire life loving, living, and raising her children in West Virginia. The mark that Helen left on those around her will resonate long past her death. As we mourn her departure, she is rejoicing in the Lord’s loving grace in eternal peace. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Goldie Clendenin, her grandson Noah Lanham, and siblings Bobbie Mallion, Hewitt Clendenin, Brady O’Dell Clendenin, and Lilly Pritt. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Larry Lanham at home; her sons Larry Brent Lanham (Robert Lamb), Brian Scott Lanham, and Anthony Bart Lanham (Vickie Lanham); her grandsons Joshua Allen Lanham and Jacob Bradley Lanham; her siblings Nellie Davis, Tootie Britton, Dreama Green, Karen Richards, Beverly Layne, Diana Sue Payne, and Rocky Clendenin; and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday September 6, 2018, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Road Cross Lanes, West Virginia with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Cross Lanes, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care at 1606 Kanawha Boulevard West Charleston, WV 25387.
