She was born August 20, 1920 in Cross Plains, TN to Herbert Ford & Viola Warren Covington. She worked as an office clerk for Genesco before her retirement. She was a member of Cross Plains United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John William Hale; brothers, John, Clayton, Bill and Junior; sister, Elizabeth. Graveside service and interment are scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11am in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Bro. Bob Filson officiating. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, September 26, 2018 4-8pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House.
