Mr. Harmon “Luzene” Breland was born October 20, 1932, in Perry County, Mississippi. He peacefully departed to his Heavenly home on August 30, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 85 years old. Mr. Breland was a member of Mars Hill Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for a number years. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Faye Breland; four daughters, Beverly (David) Taylor, Anita (Kent) Ainsworth, Rita Breland all of Wiggins, Kim (Aldridge) Free of Perkinston; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Breland of Janice and one sister, Betty Hickman of Wiggins. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Ryan (Lee) Taylor, Russell (Brandi) Taylor, Joseph (Ann) Colvin, Katie (Adam) Albritton, Megan Colvin, Phoebe (Richard) Baessler, Ashley (Chris) Jackson, Season (Brandon) McQueen, LeAnna (Trevor) Redmond, and Haley Free. In addition to his ten grandchildren, he is also survived by nine great grandchildren: Kylee Taylor, Rylee Taylor, Jackson Colvin, Braxton Albritton, Cooper Albritton, Charlie Kate Albritton, Austin Jackson, Ava Jackson, and Kace McQueen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nollie and Ruby Breland, one son, Terrel Breland, three sisters: Frankie Brown, Laverne Freeman and Lillian Howell, four brothers: Burnell Breland, Ottis Breland, Lamar Breland and Eber Breland. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins, MS. Burial will be in Janice Cemetery.
