OBITUARY H. Gene Wilson September 27, 1937 – September 6, 2018 H. Gene Wilson, 80 of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born September 27, 1937 in Stone County, Missouri to the late H.R. and Elva Lorene Herndon Wilson. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood and a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Gail Abshere Wilson and his son Gene Douglas Wilson. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Greenwood. Gene is survived by his daughter, Krystal Wilson of Greenwood, his son, Gary LaJennelle of Kemper, TX his sister Bonnie Stockstill of Nixa, MO and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tuesday Wheeler, Andy Wilson, Sebastian Wilson, Gary LaJennelle, Philip Zorn, and Jeff Richardson. Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
