Obituary for George “Dick” Mullett George Richard “Dick” Mullett of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at Wheeling Park Medical Center. The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff for their professional and compassionate care. Dick was born October 15th, 1943 in New Martinsville, WV; son of the late Glen and Ester Mullett. He was a lifelong resident of New Martinsville, graduating from Magnolia High School in 1962, where he excelled in sports with cousins Bill and Jake Mullett. He ran a small construction and rental property business with his brother Mick and was a longtime employee of Ormet. He shared his sense of humor and advice freely with all he met, and many can share stories of laughter and kindness. Dick is survived by his wife Becky Mullett of New Martinsville; three sons, John and two grandsons Drew and Sam Mullett of Dublin, OH, Jeff, daughter-in-law Carrie, grandson Ben and granddaughter Evie Mullett of Granville, OH, Mike, fiancée Jessica Morris, and grandson Trevor Mullett of Monongah, WV; two brothers Glenn “Herk” Mullett and Michael “Mick” Mullett; two sisters Glenda “Pud” Tallman and Sandy Ritz all of New Martinsville, WV, several nieces, nephews, cousins and too many friends to mention… Friends and family will be received 3-8 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S. Bridge Street, New Martinsville, WV, and 10a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the First Baptist Church, 841 4th Street, New Martinsville, WV.
