Frederick William Baumann Sr. 81 passed away peacefully on August 27th. Fred was born in Orange NJ. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Lois Baumann and sister Gail Howard. Fred was raised in Cranford, NJ and married his high school sweetheart Patty Hart in 1956. Fred worked 30 years for Consolidated Freightways before retiring in 1986. They spent their winters together playing golf in Ormond Beach FL. Fred is survived by his loving wife Pat of 62 years. Four sons: Fred Jr. of Ormond Beach FL., Jeff and his wife Lynne of Cranford, Ron and his wife Veronique of Cranford, and Scott and his wife Cindy of South Reading, VT. Nine loving grandchildren: Dillon, Jeffrey, Kristopher, Thomas, Katelyn, Cassidy, Steven, Melissa and Jessica. Many nieces and nephews including Elizabeth Howard, Edward Howard and Sandra Howard. Fred enjoyed playing golf with his buddies at the Jersey shore and was a loyal fan of the New York Jets and Rutgers University football team.
