OBITUARY Fred Lewis Gonser February 28, 1947 – August 31, 2018 Fred Lewis Gonser, 71, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bryan Hinson from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 753 College St., Macon, 31201, will be officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00pm in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton, Georgia. The family will greet friends from 9:00am until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Fred was born in Tift County, Georgia to the late Ralph Edward Gonser and Emily Katherine Fox Gonser. He served in the United States Army and was a Certified Public Accountant. Fred was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Margie Paul Gonser of 51 years; sons, Steven L. Gonser and Kenneth E.
