Mr. Fred L. Walls Sr. age 89 of Scottsburg passed away Monday, September 24 at his home. Mr. Walls was born July 6, 1929 in Greene County, Indiana the son of Edgar Walls and Julia Ann Bough Walls. He was retired after 30 years from Smith Cabinet Company. He was a member of Full Gospel Outreach and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife: Helen W. Meredith Walls. They were married December 10, 1960. He is also survived by two sons: Lary Jones of Campbellsburg, Fred L. Walls Jr. of Scottsburg, a daughter: Linda Martin of Mitchell, a sister: Helen Goad of Bloomfield, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Gary Jones, a daughter: Patricia Ann Mills, five brothers: Gerald Walls, Leo Walls, Ken Walls, Jack Walls, and Harold Walls, a sister: Joanne Goad, a grandson: Adam Martin and his parents. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hop Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6PM and Monday from Noon-time of service.
