Obituary for Frank Pevak Frank Pevak passed away peacefully at his home in McGregor on Sunday September 16, 2018. He was 90 years old. Frank was born on March 25th, 1928 in Whiting, Indiana. He is proceeded in death by his Mother; Julia Pevak(Zlatarich) Father; Joe John Pevak, Daughter Suzanne Lewis along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include one grandson; Nathan Paul Kolsky, 2 great grand-children; Zachary and Thomas Bailey, along with two very special people that he held close to his heart, Mary Morene Furry and Annette Wendeborn of McGregor. Frank loved God, family and his country. He served in the Korean War and spent two terms overseas. Upon returning home he was awarded a World War II medal and an American theater medal. After his honorable discharge, he went off to Chicago, Illinois to attend college and on March 14,1952 he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science for television engineering. He liked to travel, swim, camp and play tennis. He enjoyed attending church on Sunday mornings, he always said it was the “highlight of his week” and that the wonderful music was his favorite. Frank was a kind, generous man with a huge heart. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held in his honor at Top Hand Cowboy Church, Thursday September 20,2018 at 3pm in Valley Mills. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rob Dubois.
