Florence was born September 29, 1925 in Manhattan, New York. Cherished mother of Kathleen Collins and her husband Kevin, and Richard Pleffner and his wife Lynne. Adoring grandmother of Jaimie, Katelyn, Kenneth, and Meghan. Florence was predeceased by her loving husband Leonard. A visitation for Florence will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776. A funeral mass is scheduled on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Gerard Mejella R.C. Church, 300 Terryville Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. An interment will occur Friday, September 7, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY.
