Ernest Olrech 2018

Ernest Olrech, 82, of Rahway died Monday, September 3, 2018 at Overlook Hospital, Summit. He was born and raised in Perth Amboy and moved to Rahway in 1958. Ernest was a Maintenance Director at Rahway Geriatric center in Rahway for 15 years before retiring. He was a former communicant of St. Mark’s R.C. Church ,Rahway , Chief of the Rahway Auxiliary Police, a Rahway Crossing Guard and a member of both the Deutscher Club of Clark and the Rahway Elks B.P.O.E.1075 . Mr. Olrech was predeceased by his wife Anna Mae Olrech (nee Kovalick). Surviving are his two daughters; Catherine Weaver and her husband Bruce of Rahway and Christine Sabolchick and her husband Stephen of New York . He will also be missed by his three grandchildren ; Eric Weaver and his wife Glori, Rachel and her husband Will and Jessica Trippe as well as his 2 great-grandchildren; Gavin and Mila and one great- grandbaby on the way. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service Wednesday, September 5, 2018 8:15 pm at the Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 West Milton Ave, Rahway. Cremation is private.
