Elizabeth C Osborn 2018

Elizabeth C. “Betty” Osborn, 98, formerly of Forks Township, PA, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in Spring Village at Pocono, East Stroudsburg, PA. Born June 21, 1920, in Hempstead, New York, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Senft) Muller. She was predeceased by her husbands, Paul Schneider, William Hall and Edward Osborn. Betty attended Clinton High School. She retired in 1985 from Lipton Tea, Flemington, NJ, where she worked for 23 years. Previously, she was employed by Tung Sol, Washington, NJ. Betty enjoyed traveling and bingo. She attended Pilgrim Presbyterian Church and College Hill Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three sons, Paul Schneider, of Topeka, KS and twins, Henry Schneider, Sr. of East Stroudsburg and Herbert Schneider and his wife Bonnie, of Fort Worth, TX; a step-son, Lloyd Hall and his wife Marilyn, of Easton; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry and William Muller and two half-sisters, Minnie Schaefer and Charlotte Bremer. Services will be held at 6:30pm Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Wednesday 5-6:30pm in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery Association, Pittstown, NJ. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
