Elena Stogsdill 1958 2018

Obituary of Elena Stogsdill Elena Myriam Stogsdill, age 60, passed from this life on September 3, 2018. She was born on March 07, 1958 in Montevideo, Uruguay to Frederico Macé Susena and Elsa Renee Casal. Elena grew up in Uruguay and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in her native country. She immigrated to the United States in 1981 where she later met and married Kenneth Stogsdill on June 25, 1983 in Provo, Utah. She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Fort Worth, Texas, and children Jeff (Megan) of Boston, Massachusetts and Troy (Holly) of Orlando, Florida. She has three grandchildren, Avery, Emmett, and Silas, who she adored. She is also survived by her brother Guillermo (Marthica) of Santiago, Chile. Elena loved children and taught at various preschools throughout her married life. She faithfully served in a variety of church positions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fort Worth Texas North Stake Center, located at 7600 North Beach Street, Fort Worth, Texas on September 08, 2018 at 10 am. Visitation will be 1 hour prior. She will be interred at Medlin Cemetery of Trophy Club. In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth.
