Obituary for Eileen Callinan (Meyler) Eileen R. Callinan, 93, of Fair Haven, passed away on September 23, 2018 surrounded by her family at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Eileen was born and raised in Newark by the late William and Elizabeth Meyler. Eileen moved to Belmar in the 1950’s where she met her husband and raised her children. She then moved to Wall Township where she lived for many years before moving to Fair Haven to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Eileen was a long time member of the Catholic Daughters of America and enjoyed her many outings with the ladies. Eileen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Ryan Callinan, and her four children Elizabeth, Tom and his partner, Nancy; Richard and his partner, Louise, John and his wife, Cathleen, her grandchildren: Taylor, Richie, Brianna, Christopher, Haley, Cara, Jack, Catherine and Maeve and two dear former daughters-in-law, Lisa and Mimi. Eileen is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Louise Meyler, Margie Meyler and Jeanne Meyler and many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the kind caregivers of Meridian in Shrewsbury for the care they provided to Eileen these past nearly 6 years. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 29, 2018, 10 AM at St. Rose Church, 603 7th Ave., Belmar. Burial will follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall.
