OBITUARY Edwina Hickman July 17, 1920 – September 17, 2018 Edwina(Davis Greenwood) Hickman, 98, passed away on September 23, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Beaufort, South Carolina. She was born on July 17, 1920 in Connersville, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Mary Ruth (Horne) Davis. Edwina married Hubert Renner (Ike) Hickman in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 24, 1956. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1989. She was formerly married to Ocie E. Greenwood who is buried at the National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Edwina is survived by her two daughters and a son; Marcella Rose Brock, of Beaufort, SC, Sandra Sue Schwabe of Bedford, IN and William Edward Greenwood of Plano, TX. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marlyina Greenwood Deckwa Blades of Phoenix, AZ and two sisters; Anna Mae Roberts and Audry Marie Lawhead, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Visitation for Edwina will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Rd. 135 North. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. also in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Hermon officiating. Burial will be in Mahalasville Cemetery.
