Griffin, Dorothy Ann “Dot” (Sullivan) – Of Reading, Sept. 9th. Beloved wife of Richard T. Griffin. Mother of Sheilah Reichardt and her husband Jim of Reading and Marybeth DeBernardis and her husband Stephen of CT. Sister of Helen Collins of Somerville, Edward Sullivan and his wife Ruth of Dorchester, Fr. Frank Sullivan of Boston and the late Joseph, Catherine and Brother James Sullivan. Nana of Kevin, Ryan, Gavin, Caitlynn, Jack and Meagan. Dorothy is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home on Monday Sept. 17th at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8pm. Interment in Wood End Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA. 02452. Dorothy was a graduate of Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing and Emanuel College, she loved her grandchildren and extended family, who will miss her dearly.
