Doris Gaudet 2018

Doris M. (Lacroix) Gaudet, 93, of West Warwick passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Reginald R. Gaudet. She was born in West Warwick on January 31, 1925, a daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Credose (Jussaume) Lacroix. Doris was a member of the Pawtuxet Valley Historical and Preservation Society. She leaves two sons, Rene J. Gaudet and his wife, Michele of Coventry and Roger Gaudet and his wife, Tina of Massachusetts; a daughter, Reinette M. Sousa and her husband, Gary of Coventry; and four grandchildren, Gary and Kristen Sousa and Alexis and Erica Gaudet. She was the aunt of Cecile Ayotte of West Warwick and was the sister of the late Cleo Lacroix. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 9 am from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory maybe made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904.
