Obituary for Donald Starkey Don Starkey passed away on September 24, 2018, at the age of 69, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. He was born on October 31, 1948 to Alvin and Gertrude (Hill) Starkey in Mt. Clemens. Beloved husband of Mary (Wojtkiewicz) of 47 loving years. Loving father of Don and James (Sandy) Starkey. Proud and loving Pupa of James and Victoria Starkey. Dear brother of Catherine (Richard) Selewski, Barb (John) Hanmer, Paul (Julie) Starkey and Jeff (Brenda) Starkey. Don was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus third degree, St. Therese of Lisieux Council 11957, and fourth degree of Scared Heart Assembly 2599, an American Legion member and a proud Army veteran. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, stain glass projects and more importantly spending time with his family. A Memorial visitation will be Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (N. of 22 Mile Rd.) Shelby Twp. Instate Monday from 9:30 a.m. until a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr rd. (N. of 21 Mile Rd.) Shelby Twp. Inurnment at a later date at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. In Lieu of floral arrangements, memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus, St. Therese of Lisieux Council 11957.
