Donald K. Carver, 74 of Metropolis, passed away September 19, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah. Don was born in Glasgow, Kentucky to Ralph and Mildred (Pedigo) Carver on September 8, 1944. He was married to Shelia (Williams) Carver and lived in Metropolis, IL. Don is survived by his wife, Shelia of Metropolis. Two sons, Justin (Codie) Carver; and Dillon Carver both of Metropolis, IL. Two grandchildren; Taylor and Ethan. One great grandson, Jude. Two sisters, Susie (David) Tingle, Faye (Robert) Jones. One brother, Nelson (Carolyn) Carver. And several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Carver and two brothers, Joe and Rex Carver. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
