Dolores H. Dezzutti, 85 of Allegheny Township, formerly of Vandergrift, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Tootsie was adored by all. She was a loving wife and mother and a caring and gracious grandmother. She was a graduate of Vandergrift… Read More » High School class of 1951. Tootsie was primarily a homemaker and was employed by Dr. Gervinsky as a receptionist for several years. She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, sewing, playing cards, baking and most of all loved spending time with her beloved family. In addition to her parents, Tootsie was preceded in death by her two sisters, Rita Tatananni and Betty Ann Carnahan. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph L. “Joe” Dezzutti of Allegheny Township, children and their spouses, Beth (Rick) Farmer; David (Cindy) Dezzutti; Jolene (Luke) Lesic; Karen (Michael) Marcin; seven grandchildren, and a great granddaughter; sisters, Rose Farren of Swissvale; Patricia Frederick of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church 303 Franklin Ave. Vandergrift. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 with Father James Loew, OSB as celebrant. Private entombment will be in St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Vandergrift.
