Obituary of David Stuehler David Stuehler, of Madison, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home. He was 80 years old. David was predeceased by his beloved wife, Angela Stuehler (nee Pulsinelle). He leaves behind his son Matthew Stuehler (Treacy Kiley); his daughters, Beth Krawczuk (Stephen) and Rebecca Stuehler; his sister Helen R. Stuehler; and 5 cherished grandchildren. David was born in Newark, NJ on March 24, 1938 to the late Carl Max and Jessie Helena Stuehler (nee Jansen). David was a brilliant mind and after studying physics at MIT, he received his B.A. degree in English from Rutgers, Newark, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in English from NYU. David is a Professor Emeritus of Montclair State University and member of Modern Language Association and American Association of University Professors. He enjoyed building furniture and model boats, carving animal sculptures, and turning bowls for his home and his children.
