Obituary for Curtis M. Ward Curtis Ward, a life-long resident of the Metro DC area, died unexpectedly on September 10, 2018 at the age of 47. Curtis is survived by his mother; his wife; his children; his brother; and many loving family members and close friends. Curtis, a devoted family man, spent his free time nurturing his family, home, and friendships. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop building and modifying his well respected RC vehicle collection and creatively planning his next innovative home improvement project. At work, Curtis was highly respected for his ingenuity, attention to detail and “MacGyver like” abilities at solving problems and managing projects. A Memorial Service to honor his life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on September 22 at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia 20110.
