Edmond, Oklahoma – Constance L. (Wilkowski) Matook, 83, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Both of her children were by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late George Matook, daughter of the late John and Sophie (Fortuna) Wilkowski, and sister of the late Lillian A. (Wilkowski) Norek. Her abundant love of life and adventurous spirit took her to many places around the world,… Read More » Her most favorite being the Island of Bonaire in the Caribbean where she loved socializing, swimming, scuba, and cruising on a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Connie had a long career at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital as an EKG and EEG Technician. She was a former Eastern Star and a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Designing clothing, sewing, painting, floral arranging, interior design, and cooking were among her many talents. Connie had a profound impact as a friend, a role model, a mother and caregiver for many throughout her life. She leaves behind her son, George M. Matook, M.D. of Edmond, Oklahoma and her daughter Deborah J. Matook and her husband, Murat Oztermiyeci of Bristol, Rhode Island. Connie will be honored at a private Life Celebration. In lieu of flowers donations requested to the Alzheimer’s Association of Oklahoma.
