Obituary for Claude Alexander Funeral services for Mr. Claude “Arthur” Alexander of West Monroe, LA will be 1:00pm Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe 911 Warren Drive West Monroe with Rev. Charles Martindale officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, September 28, 2018 at the funeral home. Mr. Alexander was born March 30, 1962 in West Monroe, LA and passed from this life on September 23, 2018 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 56. Claude graduated from West Monroe High School and attended vocation school as a computer tech. He proudly served his country in the US Army. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music and watching movies and chatting to his friends on social media, he also enjoyed spending quiet time going to the lake and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Estelle Alexander and nephew Christopher Jason Douglas. Survivors include his wife of 15 years Linn Alexander; stepdaughter, Jennifer Clarke of West Monroe; three sisters, Barbara Douglas and husband Randy of West Monroe, Jo Ann Jenkins and husband Ralph of Alabama, Dorothy Tolleson of Wisconsin; one nephew, Doug Howard of North Carolina; two nieces, Amanda Sanford and husband Ben of West Monroe, Debra Conner and husband Jason; several great nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
