Obituary for Charles Joseph Lawrence CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Charles Joseph Lawrence, 20, died on Thursday, September 6, 2018. He was born in Bristol, Tennessee. He was a member of the National Guard, he graduated from Abingdon High School, and was a lifelong member of the Crosspointe Church, Bristol, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Lawrence; a son on the way, Johnny Lawrence; his mother, Millie Orfield of Abingdon, Virginia; his father, Charles Virgil Lawrence of Abingdon, Virginia; mother-in-law, Angel McReynolds of Castlewood, Virginia; special friend, Paul Tate; and father-in-law, Danny McReynolds. Celebration of Life Services for Charles Joseph Lawrence will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Keith Williams officiating. National Guard Rites will be conducted by Virginia Army National Guard Honors Team. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 10, 2018, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
